I would like to inform you all of an initiative that the Monash Gryphons Community (i.e.: Cricket & Football clubs) are trying for the first time this year. That is the Inaugural Cricketers vs. Footballers 20/20 cup.

We plan to hold this match at ECR main oval on Sunday 16th October beginning at 1PM.

Selection criteria for the footballers team is simple: If you are currently playing for the footy club or area former member or official of the football club you are eligible for selection.

I have been given the honour??? of captaining the inaugural Footballers side and I am looking for 11 to represent us. The following players (who I know play or have played Cricket at a reasonable level) I would like to see playing:

Charlie Yanni
Jon Blandford
Skindog
Wal Pocock
Chris Leeton
Craig Robinson

However, if you would like to make yourself available for selection, please let me know. It is very important for our pride that we win this match.
