Monash Gryphons Amateur Football Club

Now that the nonsense that is the Spring Carnival is done for another year, it’s time to turn our attention to real sporting contests, human sporting contests – footy(did someone say cricket? Australia vs. West Indies is hardly a sporting contest)

Our sessions will be light – mostly touch footy and some light conditioning/skills work – and will be on Wednesdays 23/11 ’til 14/12, East Caulfield Reserve @ 6.15pm. Our focus is to catch up, introduce friends and recruits, and have some fun.

BBQ and drinks will be put on after each session.

The coaching staff are also instituting a number of new initiatives for the pre-season. The first is a competition for Gryphons new and old:

whoever introduces the highest number of new recruits, who sign on to play with the club, will win an iPod. So, loosen up your tongues and start selling friends, workmates, neighbours on the virtues of the Gryphons!
